Don’t need your business name anymore?
If you’re not using your business name anymore, you may want to consider cancelling it.
You can cancel your business name online through ASIC Connect.
Once you’ve applied, we will send written notification of the intention to cancel the business name to the business name holder. Cancellation will take effect one month after we send you confirmation.
If no contact email address is recorded against your business name, your notices will be sent to the address for service of documents recorded on our register.
Following cancellation, the business name will be unavailable to register for a period of four months beginning from the date of cancellation.
